We are seeking a Events Coordinator (Corporate Workplace) on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is on-site in Sunnyvale, CA.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the Workplace Services inbox for event-related inquiries and space reservation requests.
- Manage incoming Cvent tickets and follow up with requestors when additional information is needed.
- Submit tickets for support functions such as Facilities and Janitorial services when requested.
- Create daily schedules for Events Technicians.
- Proactively engage with requestors for upcoming events, including week-before event check-ins to confirm reservation details and changes.
- Walk event spaces with requestors as needed to review event requirements.
- Communicate with stakeholders to ensure event details are understood and communicated to supporting functions.
- Review and process reservation requests.
- Manage schedules for event technicians.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an event management environment.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make informed decisions and develop solutions.
- Extensive experience using Microsoft Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong written communication skills, including written proposals.
- Experience facilitating meetings.
- Strong oral presentation skills.
- Experience collaborating across multiple business units.
