What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surveillance Engineering Manager position at The Mohegan Tribe of Indians Of Connecticut?
Summary of Job Description:
Incumbent in this position is responsible for the management of system administration and PC/Server installations for all CCTV, Access Control and Digital Recording Head-end Systems. Supervises and may also perform the duties of the Physical Security Engineer as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to thoroughly understand and apply the principles of “Electronic Theory”
- Strong working knowledge of IT networks and infrastructure
- Strong computer and mathematical skills
- Ability to use manual and/or power tools related to installation in new construction and/or old construction low voltage environment
- Ability to work in high areas using both ladders and aerial lifts
- Ability to remain calm under stressful situations by analyzing, prioritizing, and using sound judgment to resolve issues
- Good interpersonal, oral, written and telephone communication skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
~AND~
- Ten (10) years in an IT application support or computer-related position
~OR~
- Eight (8) years in an IT application support or computer-related security environment
~OR~
- Six (6) years as a Physical Security Engineer

- Three (3) years’ supervisory or management experience in the physical security field

- Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule, including on-call status when required
- Valid motor vehicle operator’s license from state of residence
