What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver (Per-Diem), Recreation & Community Services position at The Mohegan Tribe of Indians Of Connecticut?
Summary of Job Description:
Incumbent provides transportation and assistance to identified tribal groups in a Tribal Government vehicle to and from various locations and ensures vehicles are properly maintained.
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills
- Child Passenger Safety training certification required (will train)
- First Aid & CPR certifications required (will train)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current State of Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicle CDL and Public Service licenses
- Ability to lift 30 pounds and assist passengers in and out of vehicles
- Familiarity with computers; ability to maintain written records and logs
- Selected candidate must pass the background check and continue to be eligible for employment in accordance with The Mohegan Tribe’s Indian Child and Family Violence Prevention Policy
- Selected candidate must successfully complete a State of CT and Federal DOT motor vehicle background check and must continue to maintain licensing requirements
- Must comply with the Mohegan Tribe’s Drug Free Workplace/Employee Drug & Alcohol Testing Policy (Policy #83)
- Must be at least 21 years of age (DOT requirement)
- Selected candidate must meet and continue to meet all DOT Driver Qualifications and Regulatory Requirements
