Event Planner – New York Fashion Week
Location: New York City (On-Site)

Compensation: $30/hour
Estimated Hours: 60–90 hours total
We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Event Planner to support the production of a high-profile Fashion Show during New York Fashion Week (NYFW). This is a fast-paced, hands-on role ideal for someone with event coordination experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts on-site.
Role Description
This is a Temporary/Seasonal on-site role for an Event Planner located in NYC, NY. The Event Planner will be responsible for managing all aspects of event planning and execution. Daily tasks include coordinating with vendors, managing event budgets, handling venue negotiations, promoting events, and ensuring the smooth running of fashion shows. The successful candidate will also be responsible for sales initiatives related to event sponsorships and participation.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills
- Proficiency in Event Planning and Event Management
- Experience in Budgeting and managing financial aspects of events
- Sales skills related to event sponsorships and participation
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field is preferred
- Experience in the fashion industry is a plus
