- Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 / hour (Depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities
- Scratch Baking: Measure, mix, shape, and bake a variety of daily scratch-made breads, rolls, pastries, pies, and signature restaurant desserts according to established recipes.
- Quality & Consistency: Ensure all baked goods meet strict standards for taste, texture, and visual presentation before they hit the dining room.
- Inventory & Prep: Manage the morning baking prep schedule, track inventory of baking supplies (flour, sugar, yeast, etc.), and communicate ordering needs to the Chef.
- Kitchen Safety: Maintain a spotless, organized baking station; strictly follow all food safety, sanitation, and temperature control regulations.
- Equipment Care: Safely operate and clean commercial kitchen equipment, including planetary mixers, proofers, and deck/convection ovens.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 1–2 years of professional baking experience in a restaurant, café, or bakery setting is highly preferred.
- Schedule Flexibility: Ability to reliably work early morning shifts (including weekends and holidays).
- Skills: Strong understanding of baking chemistry, dough hydration, proofing times, and pastry techniques. Exceptional time-management skills to ensure all items are ready by lunchtime.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, work efficiently in a warm kitchen, and safely lift heavy ingredient bags (up to 50 lbs).
