What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spa Attendant position at The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa?

Job Overview:

Inspect, stock, and maintain Spa in a clean and orderly manner and promote a relaxing and enjoyable environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete all Spa duties and maintain the cleanliness of the locker rooms, common areas, and all areas related to the Spa throughout shift.
  • Greet and assist guests in a professional and friendly manner.
  • At the beginning of each shift, check all supplies to ensure adequate stock; replenish from the stock room as necessary.
  • Check steam room for proper temperature and cleanliness. Adjust or clean as needed.
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
  • May assist with other duties as assigned.

Qualification:

  • High School diploma or equivalent plus one year experience in a similar environment.
  • This position requires a detail oriented, organized and flexible individual who can complete all general cleaning duties
  • Must be able to multi-task and be flexible and adaptable to differing situations
  • Good inter-personal and communication skills. Personality characteristics should include being personable, respectful, positive, ethical, trustworthy, professional, self-motivated, diplomatic, and confident.
  • Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred.
  • May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Physical Qualification:

  • Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Frequently standing up and moving about the facility
  • Frequently handling objects and equipment
  • Frequently bending, stooping, kneeling

The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting and may be modified in the future.   • Evening shift
  • Morning shift

Weekly day range:

  • Every weekend
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
