You’ll work alongside producers but have full ownership of client workflow and carrier coordination. This is a high-touch, low-drama team that values clarity, speed, and subject matter strength.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a book of commercial contractor/trade accounts end-to-endHandle all service requests: policy changes, billing questions, audits, and endorsementsPrepare new business/renewal applications for marketingProcess certificate requests with correct contract endorsementsMaintain renewal calendars, gather exposure details, order loss runsCollaborate with producers and underwriters to deliver clean submissionsSkills, Knowledge and ExpertiseActive Michigan P&C license or ability to obtain quickly3–8 years in Commercial Lines Account Management (independent agency or broker)Experience with construction/trade contractor clientsStrong understanding of COIs, blanket endorsements, additional insureds, waiver of subrogation, etc.Proficient with certificates, audits, renewals, loss runsExperience with umbrella layering, E&S placements, or pollution coveragesCISR, CPIA, CPCU designations (preferred but not required)Familiarity with Vertafore / AMS360Service-first mindset with sharp attention to detailCalm and responsive in client interactionsEnjoys construction as a vertical and understands the nuances of contractor insurance
