Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves a variety of tasks related to the upkeep and enhancement of outdoor spaces, ensuring that they are both aesthetically pleasing and functional.
Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Execute tree trimming and pruning to maintain the health and appearance of trees and shrubs.
- Utilize hand tools and mechanical equipment for various landscaping duties.
- Assist in the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Conduct groundskeeping activities to maintain cleanliness and order in outdoor areas.
- Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries regarding landscape care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in garden maintenance or landscaping is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment is beneficial.
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics in landscape design.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation between job sites.
