JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greets all guests in a friendly and approachable manner.
- Crafts coffee, espresso, and specialty beverages to order, delivering high-quality and consistent guest experience.
- Operates ice cream equipment to produce quality products consistently and within established service standards.
- Operates a cash register and receives payment from guests in cash, gift card, or comp.
- Adheres to all cash handling and comp policies and procedures.
- Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards.
- Execute food and beverage processes including food deliveries, replenishment, data accuracy, rotation, cleaning, signing, organizing, and storing reserve products.
- Always aware of current and future promotions within the Coffee Bar & Creamery including specials or limited time offerings
- Follow all Coffee Bar & Creamery routines to deliver consistent experience for guests while completing tasks efficiently and maintaining food safety.
- Follow all food safety requirements, including monitoring and recording temperature sensitive food items, as outlined in best practice.
- Complete and record all cleaning tasks on Sanitation Logs and Checklists as outlined in best practices.
- Follow proper perishable inventory procedures to ensure an accurate recording of inventory
- Identifies opportunities to upsell and influences guest’s decisions through product knowledge and enthusiasm for the sale.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to supervisor or Manager in a timely manner.
- To provide BIG Service to guests and ensure their complete satisfaction, inclusive of greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, anticipating and meeting guest needs and preferences, remaining calm and professional when dealing with guests that are difficult or upset.
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) required.
- Previous experience in a coffee shop, restaurant, or hospitality environment, preferred.
- Experience handcrafting coffee, espresso, or specialty beverages is a plus.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks.
- Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, this includes day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
Salary : $15
