- Assists the Director of Cage Operations in the development and implementation of Cage and Money Room instructions, policies, and procedures.
- Secures and protects the assets of The Mint Gaming Hall Bowling Green.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable gaming laws of the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission (KHRC), company internal controls, policies and procedures, liquor laws, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply.
- Supports the Director of Cage Operations with interviewing, training, developing, measuring performance, disciplining, and/or scheduling department staff as assigned.
- Monitors and reviews the accuracy of transactions involving coin, currency, patron’s checks, forms, keys, reports, and records relating to the Cage and Money Room operations.
- Ensures compliance with the proper controls that are in place to eliminate cage variances.
- Immediately investigates and reports any monetary or procedural discrepancies to the Director of Cage Operations.
- Works closely with the Director of Cage Operations in the preparation of the departmental budget and responds to inquiries related to the property financial review process in the absence of the Director of Cash Operations.
- Works closely with all department leaders on complying with the cash handling departmental policies and procedures and recommends revisions as necessary to ensure the protection of company assets.
- Understands and adheres to gaming and compliance rules around sports wagering.
- Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Cage department.
- To provide BIG Service to internal guests and ensure their complete satisfaction, inclusive of greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, anticipating and meeting guest needs and preferences, remaining calm and professional when dealing with guests that are difficult or upset.
- The ability to develop and maintain professional, trusting, and positive working relationships with managers, supervisors, staff, coworkers, guests, and vendors.

- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
- High school diploma or general education degree required.
- 1 – 3 years related experience required. Previous Cage/Players Club or Guest Services experience is preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks.
- Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as outlined in the Transfer and Promotion policy.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, this includes day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license and Sports Wagering license.
