Job Summary:
The Racquet Grounds Keeper is responsible for maintenance of the tennis courts during the season at the Club.
Essential Duties/Functions:
- Tennis clay court maintenance and watering.
- Preseason opening duties and post season closing duties.
- General facility maintenance including garbage and debris pick up.
- Light facility maintenance includes building repair, cleaning and painting.
- Moving chairs, tables, boxes and supplies.
- Helping with event set up.
- Other duties demanded by the business.
- Time management skills and daily attention to details.
- Must be comfortable driving a golf cart and handling outside work tools.
- Irrigation and handyman skills.
- Comfortable working in outside elements (cold & hot).
- Ability to work with desk staff and Pros in a team environment required.
- Although this position does not have direct contact with membership, they should be aware and conduct themselves appropriately regarding club philosophy regarding customer service.
- General willingness to help with any required club duties.
- Ability to safely lift items 30-40 lbs.
- Awareness of faculty security and following locking up procedures.
- Tennis background is helpful but not required.

- High School Diploma
- Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
- Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
- Continuous repetitive motions.
