Job Summary:
The Pool Snack Bar Supervisor supervises Snack Bar Attendants to provide high level food and beverage Snack Bar service for Members and their guests.
Essential Duties/Functions:
- Warmly greet Members and their guests upon arrival, providing friendly and attentive service
- Directs and service staff during all phases of the work day: opening and closing duties, prep work, and service
- Ensures all attendants are well groomed and in proper uniform
- Effectively and regularly communicates expectations and service goals to staff
- Knowledge of the current menu and beverage items
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and team members to provide a seamless dining experience
- Delivering a memorable dining experience by resolving all Member issues promptly
- Proficient use of the Club POS System
- Assist in tidying, clearing, and keeping the dining tables and lounge chairs clear of debris
- Oversees Snack Bar equipment and supplies are restocked and functioning properly
- Assists with training, supervising, scheduling, and evaluating snack bar staff
- Enforces establish Club rules, regulations, and policies
- Assures that state and local laws and the Club’s policies and procedures for service of alcoholic beverages are consistently followed
- Assist in inventory of Snack Bar ware, equipment, and supplies to meet required needs
- Preform other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of restaurant etiquette
- Basic knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education and Experience:
- Previous supervisory experience, preferably at a private club
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for long periods of time
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work outside in the summer months
- Due to serving of alcohol, must be 18 years of age

$20 - $25 per hour depending on experience
