Part-Time Human Resources Manager
The Miners 1928 Hotel – Pottsville, PA
The Miners 1928 Hotel is seeking an experienced, organized, and approachable Part-Time Human Resources Manager to support our growing hospitality team.
This is an on-site position and is not a work-from-home role. We are flexible with scheduling and open to approximately 2–3 full days per week or shorter shifts of approximately 3–4 hours, up to 5 days per week, depending on the candidate and the needs of the hotel.
Pay is based on experience.
Responsibilities may include:
- Managing the hiring and recruitment process for hotel, food & beverage, and event staff
- Coordinating new employee onboarding and maintaining employee records
- Managing employee information, payroll-related HR functions, and other administrative tasks through ADP
- Assisting employees with benefits enrollment, questions, and ongoing benefit administration
- Developing, maintaining, and communicating company employment policies and procedures
- Ensuring employee policies and practices remain consistent and properly documented
- Supporting management with employee relations and disciplinary matters
- Preparing and maintaining disciplinary documentation, performance records, and other HR documentation
- Providing general HR support to employees and management
- Assisting with employee performance reviews and workplace concerns
- Maintaining confidential personnel files and HR records
- Helping ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and workplace requirements
- Supporting the continued growth of the hotel by helping create organized and consistent HR processes
Qualifications:
- Previous human resources experience preferred
- Experience with ADP is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of hiring, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, and employment policies
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive employee information professionally and confidentially
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with hotel management
- Hospitality, restaurant, or hotel HR experience is a plus
Schedule:
Part-time, on-site at The Miners 1928 Hotel in Pottsville, PA.
Schedule can be structured around approximately 2–3 days per week or shorter 3–4 hour shifts up to 5 days per week. We are willing to discuss a schedule that works well for the right candidate while meeting the needs of the hotel.
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
