Job Responsibilities:
The Credentialing Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring that our healthcare providers meet all necessary requirements for practicing within our organization. This role involves managing credentialing processes, tracking documentation, and maintaining compliance with regulations and contractual agreements.
- Monitor/Maintain the credentialing and contracting boards
- Get acquainted with our internal systems for tracking and managing provider information.
- Monitor the credentialing email
- Receive onboarding paperwork from new providers
- Review Documentation to make sure everything has been received
- Reach out to new providers if we are missing any required documentation
- Verify provider credentials, licenses, and certifications:
- Update and maintain CAQH profiles for new providers
- Re-attest existing profiles as necessary
- Complete applications for new providers to join our group contracts
- Recredentialing Applications
- Manage provider COIs (Certificates of Insurance) and licenses to ensure they are up-to-date.
- Application Follow-Up:
- Monitor individual and group applications to ensure timely approval.
- Make weekly follow up calls/emails to get application status
- Submit, manage, and follow up on out-of-state applications.
- Address issues related to our contracts regarding denied claims
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have 1 year experience with Credentialing and Contracting for Behavioral Health
Spanish Speaking a plus.
Must work well independently.

Compensation:
$20-25 DOE per hour with opportunities for growth
