What are the responsibilities and job description for the Draftsman position at The Millwork Shop?
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed drawings using CAD, preferably Delta
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from shop foreman and customers.
- Ensure accuracy and adherence to drafting standards and guidelines
- Collaborate with other drafters
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Delta CAD
- Strong understanding of drafting principles and techniques
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Note: Experience in drafting for custom cabinetry is preferred.
Hours are Monday-Thursday 6:00AM - 3:30PM and Friday 6:00AM - 11:00AM with all major holidays off.
