What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Baker position at The Mill?
Position Summary
Do you love to bake? Have a passion for muffins (we make hundreds)? Do you have exacting and very high standards? If so, join our bakery team!
As one of our bakers you will be primarily responsible for assisting our pastry chef in the production of muffins, and assorted pastries.
You would be directed by our pastry chef and report to our kitchen manager while being part of the growth and vision of this locally owned company.
Baking experience a must. Hours can be part or full time, with one weekend day required!
You need to be cheery, trainable, and dependable.
Precision and the ability to take direction are critical.
This is a position that can grow, offers creativity, and the opportunity to contribute ideas and your unique skills.
Pay commensurate with experience.

Qualifications
- Flexibility to both multi-task and re-prioritize as needed in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to exercise independent judgment and decision-making skills
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Able to work overtime, as required
- Minimum High School or GED
