Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new dishes or modifications based on customer feedback and seasonal ingredients
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and plating with precision and care
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by communicating effectively and supporting fellow staff members
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings with a focus on fine dining or catering is preferred
