We are seeking a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our team
Overview:
We are a specialized bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) clinic
seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Assistant
with proven phlebotomy skills to join our patient-focused team. The ideal
candidate will provide high-quality clinical support to our physician and help
ensure an excellent patient experience in a concierge wellness-centered
environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Collect and process blood and other laboratory specimens (venipuncture and fingerstick)
- Document vital signs, medical histories, and patient concerns accurately in EMR
- Administer hormone and GLP=1 injections
- Maintain inventory and cleanliness of exam rooms, phlebotomy station, and medical supplies
- Ensure lab specimens are correctly labeled, stored, and transported according to protocol
- Educate patients on HRT protocols, medication instructions, and post-injection care
- Support front office staff when needed (scheduling, phone calls, check-in/out)
- Follow all HIPAA and OSHA compliance standards
- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited program (preferred, not required)
- Phlebotomy certification and at least 1 year of recent blood draw experience ( Preferred )
- Previous experience in a hormone replacement, wellness, or integrative medicine clinic (preferred) not required will train
- Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR), preferably Cerbo
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical setting
- Professional demeanor and compassionate patient care approach
Schedule & Benefits:
- Monday through Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm, Closed Friday, No weekends
