Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
- Take customer orders accurately using Menusifu POS systems ensuring smooth food service customer order management
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation and presentation
- Process cash, credit card, and retail sales transactions with precision, including cash register operations and cash handling
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation standards, food safety protocols, and proper food handling procedures
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting overall restaurant sanitation efforts to ensure a welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred; food service experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; retail math skills are beneficial
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive, energetic attitude
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and follow food safety standards
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing register operations
- Experience in food handling, sanitation, and restaurant or café environments is desirable
- Prior retail sales or grocery store experience can be advantageous for understanding sales transactions and upselling techniques
