DC Government Agency is hiring DC residents with strong Bilingual, customer service and call center experience for a remote position supporting the Agency's Call Center.
Position Highlights:
- Start Date: November 3, 2025
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:30AM-8:00 PM EST and Saturday rotation 10AM-5PM **Training hours will be M-F 9:30AM-6PM
- Pay: $19.19
- Location: Fully remote (must have a strong and stable home internet connection – minimum 25 Mbps)
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen
- Proficient in English and Spanish
Important Training Requirement:
- The first 6 weeks of training are mandatory — no time off is allowed during this period.
- If you have planned time off in November to mid December, please do not apply.
What You'll Do:
- Answer inbound calls from the public and assist with health coverage questions and applications
- Guide callers through eligibility, enrollment, and plan selection
- Use internal systems to document calls and manage case details
- Provide excellent, respectful service to people from diverse backgrounds
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- 6 months to 2 years of customer service, healthcare, or call center experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience working with diverse and underserved populations
- Comfortable navigating customer service and CRM software
- Able to work in a fast-paced, structured environment
Remote Work Requirements:
- Reliable home internet (25 Mbps or faster)
- A quiet, distraction-free workspace
- Must stay engaged and responsive during work hours, including calls, emails, and Microsoft Teams
Note: This could become a long-term role. If the assignment ends, you’ll need to return all government-issued equipment.
