Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using TOAST POS system.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, and beer, with precision and flair
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bar and dining spaces
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately during shifts
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
• Use OpenTable for reservations management and guest seating arrangements
• Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, addressing questions or concerns promptly

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems for order entry and transactions
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices in a restaurant setting
• Excellent customer service skills with a welcoming attitude and the ability to connect with diverse guests
• Experience in fine dining or nightlife environments like nightclubs is a plus
• Ability to manage time efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and sales upselling techniques
• Previous experience in food service roles such as serving, bartending, host/hostess duties, or kitchen support is highly valued
• Knowledge of food industry standards including food preparation, food handling, and guest relations
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members seamlessly
• Hospitality background that emphasizes guest satisfaction and positive dining experiences

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
