Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages with flair and precision
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bar, dining space, and food handling stations
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and POS systems like OpenTable or other restaurant software
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or casual dining settings
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, cocktail recipes, and food safety practices
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
• Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions accurately, and managing bills effectively
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and food handling regulations to ensure a safe dining environment
