Responsibilities
- Assist servers with food and beverage service, including setting up tables and delivering dishes promptly
- Handle food preparation tasks such as plating, garnishing, and ensuring presentation standards are met
- Support the kitchen team with basic food handling and safe lifting practices during heavy lifting tasks like moving supplies or equipment
- Buss tables efficiently by clearing dishes, resetting tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Ensure guest safety by adhering to food safety protocols and proper manual handling procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest needs and maintaining a positive attitude
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience or hospitality background preferred; experience in fine dining is a plus
- Knowledge of food service operations, including serving, bussing, and food handling techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing
- Experience with banquet setups or hotel service environments is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests
- Demonstrated understanding of food safety standards and manual handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
