About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Supervisor to join our Substance Abuse Recovery Center team. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality patient care. This role is critical in ensuring that nursing operations run smoothly, staff are supported, and all regulatory and compliance standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, support, and mentor nursing staff to ensure consistent, high-quality patient care.
• Oversee daily nursing operations, including shift assignments, scheduling, and coverage.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations, including documentation standards and clinical protocols.
• Foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment with open communication among staff, providers, and leadership.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
• Monitor patient care practices to maintain safety, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, incident reporting, and staff records.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Massachusetts/Connecticut or multi-state, as applicable).
• Minimum [3–5] years of nursing experience, with at least [2] years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Prior experience in a substance abuse, behavioral health, or recovery center strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of clinical compliance, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to foster teamwork while maintaining accountability and professionalism.
