About the Opportunity

The MH Group is seeking Master’s-Level Clinicians, licensed or license-eligible, to join a client’s collaborative behavioral health team in Springfield and Holyoke. The team provides evidence-based treatment and recovery services to adults with substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, and other complex needs.

In this role, you will work alongside physicians, nurses, care navigators, and community partners. You will deliver person-centered, trauma-informed care that helps clients move toward recovery and long-term wellness. If you are license-eligible, you will receive the clinical supervision and support you need to reach full licensure.

What You’ll Do

• Assess: Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, intake evaluations, risk assessments, and clinical formulations.
• Plan: Develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practice.
• Treat: Provide individual, family, and group counseling for substance use and co-occurring disorders.
• Respond: Complete crisis evaluations and put appropriate safety interventions in place.
• Coordinate: Partner with the medical team, care navigators, and community providers. With authorization, involve family members and caregivers in treatment planning.
• Connect: Link clients with community resources that support recovery and stability.
• Document: Complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, referrals, and outcome measures accurately and on time.
• Grow: Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training.
• Flex: Provide services across both locations or by telehealth as program needs require.
• Comply: Follow HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and all applicable state and federal regulations.

What You Bring

Required

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field
• Massachusetts clinical licensure (LMHC, LICSW, LADC I, or equivalent), or eligibility for licensure with active progress toward it
• Strong skills in assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and clinical documentation
• Clear, professional communication, both written and verbal
• Commitment to cultural humility and trauma-informed care with diverse populations
• Working knowledge of community resources and referral coordination

Preferred

• Two or more years of experience in mental health, behavioral health, or substance use treatment
• Experience with co-occurring disorders. Clinicians eager to build this expertise are encouraged to apply.
