Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate is professional, adaptable, and passionate about providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient intake processes, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately.
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to support diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Assist providers with minor procedures and basic wound care.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize them between patients.
- Prepare prescription requests and referrals under provider supervision.
- Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently by entering patient data, updating records, and ensuring accuracy for seamless information flow.
- Support patient education by explaining procedures, medication instructions, or post-surgical care instructions clearly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
- Previous experience in a high-volume clinical setting is preferred.
- Current certification such as CMA, RMA, or CCMA is preferred.
- Proficiency with EMR systems and electronic documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
Pay: $41,600.00 - $46,000.00 per year
