Job Overview:
As an Order Picker/Inventory Associate at our meter reading services company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, as well as assisting with inventory control activities to maintain optimal stock levels and organization.
Responsibilities:
Order Fulfillment:
- Accurately pick and pack materials, tools, and equipment based on daily work orders for meter reading services.
- Prepare shipments for delivery to field technicians or customer sites, ensuring all items are correctly labeled and documented.
- Assemble kits or packages as required for specific job orders or projects.
Inventory Management:
- Perform daily cycle counts and periodic physical inventories to maintain accurate stock records.
- Receive, inspect, and put away incoming shipments, verifying quantities and reporting discrepancies.
Documentation & Communication:
- Accurately complete picking, packing, and inventory documentation, both digital and paper-based.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, purchasing, and field teams regarding order status or inventory issues.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Basic math skills for counting and verifying quantities.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $21.79 - $25.84 per hour
