What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mid-Senior Litigation Associate position at The Merker Group?
The Merker Group is working with an Am Law 100 firm to find a mid to senior-level Associate with experience in civil litigation to join the firm's Minneapolis office.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a firm that offers competitive compensation, a hybrid/remote work arrangement and a manageable billable hour requirement. We do a significant amount of work with this firm and know the team well.
Required experience:
- 5 years of experience in all phases of litigation including conducting factual investigations, managing discovery, preparing pleadings and motions, taking and defending depositions, communicating with clients, and managing cases.
- Experience with mass torts, product liability and/or commercial litigation matters (*Not personal injury or insurance defense experience).
- Prior Am Law 100/200 or boutique litigation firm experience.
- J.D. and excellent academic credentials.
- Minnesota bar license (or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible).
- Additional bar licensure in California, Florida, or Texas is preferred.
- Open to Relocation candidates
