The Mental Health Association of Columbia-Greene Counties, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Team Crew Member to join our team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our staff, clients, and visitors. The Cleaning Team Crew Member is responsible for performing cleaning and maintenance duties to ensure our facilities meet quality and safety standards.
Position Type: Part Time- Up to 15 hours per week
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Work Location: Columbia and Greene Counties-Transportation will be provided from site to site as needed
Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday
Job Duties include:
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of assigned worksites.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors, carpets, and other surfaces.
- Clean and restock restrooms.
- Collect and dispose of trash; replace liners.
- Cleans or dusts glass and other exposed surfaces including walls, window sills, cases, door trim and molding, and furniture.
- Safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals in accordance with guidelines.
- Report hazards, damages, or repair needs to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleaning equipment in proper working condition.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Attend required training sessions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Demonstrates a positive and friendly demeanor.
- Follows directions and works independently.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand motions; handle or feel objects; and stand, walk, reach, and bend for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. as needed.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work at varied locations based on program needs.

- Basic computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office, and web-based systems for daily tasks and timekeeping.
