Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Manager located in Farmingdale, NY. The General Manager will oversee day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure a high-quality dining experience for guests. Responsibilities include staff management, ensuring compliance with food safety and health standards, budgeting and financial management, driving revenue growth, and fostering positive guest relations. The General Manager will also take an active role in team training, operational planning, and maintaining a welcoming and safe workplace environment for all employees.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership abilities in managing teams and cultivating a positive work environment
- Experience with operational planning, financial management, budgeting, and cost control
- Strong customer service skills, guest relations, and hospitality expertise
- Knowledge of food safety and health regulations
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field is an advantage
