We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Kitchen Supervisor to lead our Back of House operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining the highest standards of food preparation, plating, and service. You’ll be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, expediting orders, managing prep work and presentation, and ensuring a clean and compliant kitchen environment. You’ll also lead by example—training and cross-training team members, managing inventory and food costs, and keeping prep charts and recipes consistent. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Manage food preparation tasks, including chopping, cutting, and preparing sauces and dressings
- Expedite food orders efficiently to ensure timely service
- Plate dishes with precision, maintaining The Melting Pot’s high standards for presentation
- Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with health and safety regulations
- Train and cross-train Back of House staff across all kitchen stations
- Monitor inventory, order supplies, and control food costs
- Motivate and lead the kitchen team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Implement and maintain recipes and prep charts for consistency
We cross-train our Back of House staff to master all kitchen areas, with opportunities for salary increases based on skills and stations mastered.
Requirements:
- Open scheduling availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team
- Ability to follow and execute recipes and prep charts accurately
- Experience in a kitchen environment preferred, but not required if you have a strong desire to learn
- Passion for delivering exceptional food and guest experiences

Must be able to follow food safety standards. Must be able and willing to lead by example - with detail orientation. Proven work history and career progression with some supervision is an advantage. The positions requires teamwork, ability to read directions and manuals, require extensive use of computer systems.
WORK SCHEDULE
5 day work week average 42-48 hours
2 days off in a row (after training)

The group owns Melting Pot Restaurants in Texas, Arizona, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, DC, Florida, Ohio and Tennessee. They also own and operate the Rodizio Grill Brazilian Steakhouse in Nashville and Sarasota. And are partners in the Orlando, FL location. Each of their restaurants has an operating partner who has risen through the ranks to own part of the restaurant.

The Melting Pot of Fort Collins is dedicated to the community through local fund raising and is always a top fund raiser for Great Plate supporting the Larimer County Food Bank and has raised over $1million for St. Jude Children’s hospital (The highest Melting Pot in the country).
