We are a growing personal injury law firm looking for a legal assistant/case manager to join us in our Greenville, SC office. We are looking for a team player who is organized and detail-oriented. This is a full-time position (8:30 - 5:30), please do not apply if you are not available for full time work. It is also an in-office position, it is not remote. Legal Assistant/Case Manager Job Description
Job Requirements
Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and demonstrate acute attention to detail. Excellent organizational, written, and communication skills are essential. Must be a positive team player. Previous Personal Injury Case Manager experience is a plus but not required. Spanish fluency is also a plus. This position requires a significant amount of time talking to people on the phone and taking good notes.
Job Duties
- Handle pre-suit personal injury claims from inception to settlement, which involves extensive contact with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers
- Field and handle phone calls from new and existing clients
- Follow up with potential new clients
- Open new files and keep filing current
- Draft documents and correspondence
- Communicate with current clients and provide case status updates
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
- Assist with various marketing initiatives for the firm
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree
- Experience in legal assistance
- Familiarity with law, legal procedures, and protocols
Starting pay is $20/hr - $25/hr depending on experience. Significant raises have been given to case managers who have performed at an excellent level for the firm.
