Medical Lab Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT / MLS)
Location: Geneseo, Illinois (Near Davenport, Iowa)
We are hiring a Medical Lab Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT or MLS) to join a high-performing laboratory team in a critical access hospital serving Geneseo and the surrounding Quad Cities region. Position Highlights
- Evening Shift, No call requirements for predictable time off
- Generalist role with a broad in-house test menu
- High-volume lab performing 1,600–2,000 tests per day
- Exposure to hematology, chemistry, and limited microbiology
- Perform bacteriology identification and susceptibility testing
- Epic & Sunquest laboratory systems
- Fast-paced, team-oriented environment ideal for MLTs or MLS professionals
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Hourly Pay:
- MLT (Associate’s Degree): $28.02 - $43.65
- MLS / Medical Lab Scientist (Bachelor’s Preferred): $34.60/hr - $53.91/hr

Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (required)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field (preferred)
- ASCP certification or equivalent required
- Strong generalist skillset across core lab disciplines
- Prior hospital lab experience preferred but not required
- Visa sponsorship not available
