The Medical Team, Inc. is a privately held company founded in 1978 and based in suburban Washington, DC. We specialize in providing home health, hospice, and community-based services. Our team is currently seeking a talented QA Registered Nurse to support our Home Health Division!
Position Overview:
We are looking for an RN with home care experience to perform the following tasks, among others:
- Review nursing, therapy, and MSW skilled documentation, including QA and coding for OASIS.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in home health required!
- Current RN license without restrictions
- CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of paperless documentation
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Knowledge of Medicare regulations and OASIS
- Experience with ICD-10 coding strongly preferred
Desired Preferences:
- Knowledge and experience in home health, coding, and PGDM
- Familiarity with home health rules and regulations
Additional Preferences:
- Candidates must be licensed as an RN
- We prefer this position to be based in Michigan, ideally Livonia
- Open to either an office role or a hybrid (office/remote) setup
- Responsibilities will include OASIS quality review and communication with office leadership
- Coding for all OASIS cases and managing all communications related to coding and submissions
