In this role, you will be working directly with The MLC’s internal desktop support team, working across the organization to streamline the imaging and deployment of The MLC’s workstations. As a member of IT, you are detail-oriented and relational, focused on providing an exceptional customer experience for all internal users. You love being hands-on to solve problems, big and small, and you can thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience with PC desktop support or relevant certification(s)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to effectively analyze and resolve problems in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to organize and set priorities according to situational demands
- Familiarity with Cloud based Platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, Help Desk Systems, including Remote Assistance
- Able to work a flexible schedule up to 20 hours a week with the ability to work after normal business hours to support events
AS A MEMBER OF THE TECHNOLOGY TEAM, YOU WILL:
ASSIST WITH THE ASSIGNMENT AND UPKEEP OF EQUIPMENT BY:
- Deploying laptop/desktop hardware and common peripherals in accordance with The MLC’s asset management processes and procedures
- Verifying returned equipment meets operational standards
- Assisting with routine maintenance of MLC systems
- Contributing and collaboration with scheduled office organizers to assist with the ongoing use of audio and Teleconference equipment, and ensuring compliance with The MLC’s standards and guidelines
- Monitoring conference room systems and assisting in providing a stable experience for both MLC users and guests
- Providing technical support to MLC users related to wireless and home networking, VPN, multi-factor authentication, and threat management
- Maintaining a comprehensive and current knowledge of The MLC’s technology and recommending modifications as necessary
