Duties
- Research, investigate, and write news stories that resonate with our audience, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Write clear, engaging, and well-structured articles following AP style guidelines for consistency and professionalism.
- Capture high-quality photographs and produce compelling video content that complements written stories.
- Utilize social media platforms by creating engaging posts, sharing news alerts, and interacting with readers to grow our online community.
- Fact-check all information thoroughly to maintain credibility and uphold journalistic standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in written journalism with a strong portfolio of published articles or multimedia stories.
- Familiarity with social media management tools and platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok for content distribution.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
- Knowledge of AP style and journalistic writing principles to ensure clarity and professionalism in all content.
- Experience in research, fact-checking, proofreading, and copy editing to produce accurate reports under tight deadlines.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
