Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Support residents with memory loss through patience, reassurance, redirection, and meaningful engagement
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition, behavior, or needs to the nursing team promptly
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
- Respond promptly and professionally to resident call lights and requests
- Accurately document care and services provided according to community and state guidelines
- Uphold resident rights, confidentiality, and person-centered care practices at all times
- Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in the state of Nebraska
- Passion for serving older adults, especially those living with dementia or memory-related conditions
- Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and patient in a fast-paced environment
