Duties
- Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable kennels for animals in our care, ensuring proper sanitation and hygiene standards are met at all times
- Support animal handling activities such as feeding, walking, grooming, and monitoring behavior to promote well-being.
- Qualifications
- Prior kennel experience or hands-on animal care experience preferred; familiarity with pet care routines is highly valued
- Knowledge of animal husbandry practices including feeding, grooming, and basic health monitoring
- Experience working in a dog kennel, veterinary clinic or with veterinary technicians is advantageous
- Ability to handle dogs confidently and safely using appropriate dog handling skills
- Excellent animal handling skills combined with compassionate communication abilities for interacting with pet owners and team members
