Responsibilities
- Supervise daily kennel activities, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring animals’ health and behavior
- Lead and motivate kennel staff to deliver high-quality pet care and customer service
- Assist to promote good behavior and socialization.
- Handle animal restraint safely.
- Requirements
- Proven experience in dog handling, pet bathing or kennel operations with a strong understanding of animal care practices
- Background in veterinary experience or veterinary technician work is highly desirable
- Knowledge of dog behavior and management strategies
- Prior veterinary assistant or kennel experience is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily responsibilities
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and task management
