Duties
- Safely handle dogs during daily activities
- Improve obedience, socialization, and behavioral skills
- Maintain a clean and organized kennel area, ensuring a safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog’s behavior, care needs, and progress
Requirements
- Proven experience in dog training or handling, with a strong understanding of canine behavior
- Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience is a plus
- Knowledge of dog safe handling practices
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to move or lift dogs or equipment
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners and visitors
- Strong dog handling skills combined with patience, compassion, and attention to detail
