What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident Assistant for Memory Care position at THE MEADOWS AT WINDSOR GARDENS ASSISTED LIVING?
Looking for Memory Care Resident Assistant for full-time days, full-time nights, and PRN both shifts!
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote a safe and positive living environment.
- Monitor and document residents' progress and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with mobility and lifting for residents who require assistance.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of resident living areas.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a nursing home or assisted living facility.
- Knowledge of working with individuals with dementia is preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with residents, families, and staff members.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
