Role Description
The McShane Firm is currently looking to hire a seeking a paralegal. We are looking for a positive, friendly and detail-oriented individual who can work and communicate effectively within a team environment.
Qualifications
Preferred applicant will have graduated from or be currently enrolled in a Paralegal Studies or Criminal Justice program or have relevant background experience to be considered.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing support to an attorney to ensure that the attorney is provided with the resources to make effective decisions and litigate/operate in the best environment
* Conducting potential new client interviews
* Typing of correspondence and originate basic court filings, reports and other documents
* Coordinating of scheduling, including handling conflicts, changes and notifying the attorney to potential future conflicts
* Maintaining office files and assorted clerical duties
* Providing overflow receptionist services
Specific Qualifications:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Strong customer service skills
* Ability to manage workflow to reach performance goals
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $37,500.00 per year
