What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Member Support Associate position at The McAlear Group?
This position will have a responsibility in providing administrative and clerical support to the HR department, ensuring the smooth functioning of HR processes, and providing a high level of customer service to team members. The role includes support in the areas of administrative, recruitment, payroll, onboarding, and all subjects HR, ensuring that our team members receive exceptional support and guidance.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the onboarding process for new team members to ensure a successful integration to the team. This includes but not limited to new hire orientation and team member follow-up.
- Assist in maintaining team member records.
- Function as a backup for the payroll processing.
- Function as a backup for the recruitment process.
- Act as a liaison between the team members and management.
- Assisting with HR-related projects, such as performance management and training initiatives.
- Support leadership with involvement in HR programs.
- Assist leadership in implementing new HR roll-out programs.
- Act as a resource for team members who have questions regarding processes.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of all HR communication.
- Assist with maintaining HR bulletin boards and other communications.
- Adherence with all HR policies and procedures.
- Punctuality and regular attendance
NON-ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support co-workers with basic office tasks.
- Identify areas of improvement within the company.
- Prepare reports or presentations
- Perform other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift to fifteen (15) pounds at times.
COMPETENCY, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong communicator with an ability to build relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn Human Resources information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
- Able to change focus frequently and often while being detail oriented and well organized.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior related office experience.
PREFERRED:
- Associates degree in HR or related field.
- HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
