This position is responsible for providing advanced financial analysis, strategic insights, and decision support to leadership to drive business performance and profitability. This role develops financial models, analyzes financial and operational data, prepares forecasts, and budgets, and identifies trends that impact organizational performance. The Senior Financial Analyst partners with department leaders to evaluate business opportunities, improve financial processes, and support strategic initiatives.
This position requires strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful recommendations that support informed business decisions. The Senior Financial Analyst also plays a key role in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), reporting, and continuous improvement of financial systems and processes.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead cross-functional finance-related initiatives (cost reduction, pricing analysis, inventory optimization, freight analysis, etc.)
- Develop ROI models and capital expenditure analysis.
- Identify cost savings and margin improvement opportunities.
- Develop and own monthly financial reporting packages and KPI dashboards.
- Perform variance analysis and provide structured explanations of performance drivers.
- Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes.
- Ensure alignment and reconciliation between ERP systems, BI tools, and the General Ledger
- Improve financial reporting accuracy and reduce manual processes through automation.
- Partner with operations, sales, supply chain, and IT to improve data visibility and decision-making.
- Analyze revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and EBITDA drivers.
- Build dynamic financial models to support forecasting and strategic decisions.
NON-ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with special projects such as financial system upgrades, ERP implementations, or reporting tool enhancements.
- Provide ad hoc financial reports or analysis as requested by leadership or cross-functional teams.
- Assist in the documentation and maintenance of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Help prepare presentation materials for leadership meetings, board meetings, or strategic planning sessions.
- Participate in system testing and validation when financial software or reporting tools are updated.
- Attend professional development or training programs to stay current with financial analysis tools and industry best practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the finance team or organizational objectives.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3–8 years of progressive finance or FP&A experience
- Experience leading projects or cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong financial modeling skills (Excel required, BI tools preferred)
- Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- High level of ownership and initiative
PREFERRED:
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution
- Experience with ERP systems and BI tools (Power BI, Sisense, etc.)
