Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Nurse Injector to join our innovative medical spa team. In this role, you will deliver advanced aesthetic and medical injection treatments, including dermal fillers and toxin therapies, to enhance patient confidence and well-being. Duties
- Perform injectable treatments such as botulinum toxin (Botox) and dermal fillers with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and evaluating suitability for aesthetic procedures.
- Educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, post-treatment care, and potential risks.
- Administer laser treatments, including but not limited to skin resurfacing, hair removal, and pigmentation correction.
- Maintain sterile techniques and ensure all procedures comply with aseptic standards to prevent infections.
- Document all treatments accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems, including medication administration details and patient responses.
- Monitor patient progress post-treatment, address concerns promptly, and provide follow-up care instructions.
- Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and regulatory requirements related to aesthetic injections.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license (RN, PA, NP or LPN) with current certification to administer injections.
- Demonstrated experience administering injections such as Botox, dermal fillers, or other esthetic and laser treatments.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology relevant to facial anatomy and injectable procedures.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like PatientNow for accurate documentation.
- Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively and build trust.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and care.
