Responsibilities

- Assist with meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery of dishes during busy service hours
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality
- Support menu planning efforts by suggesting improvements or new dish ideas based on customer feedback and culinary trends
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate service flow and ensure efficient operations
- Assist in catering events or special functions as needed, providing excellent food service to guests
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings, preferably with fine dining experience
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in menu planning and meal preparation for diverse dietary needs
- Background in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus
- Excellent food industry knowledge, including kitchen experience and food service operations
