Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure proper sanitation practices are followed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and helping the culinary team.
- Organize and store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas to ensure easy access for kitchen staff.
- Dispose of waste and manage recycling efforts to maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak service times.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
