Responsibilities
- Conduct structured driving lessons for students, focusing on practical skills and safety procedures
- Assess each learner’s progress and adapt instruction to meet individual needs and learning styles
- Explain traffic laws, road signs, and vehicle controls clearly and effectively to ensure understanding
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, lesson plans, and assessments in compliance with licensing standards
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their driving techniques and confidence
- Uphold all safety protocols during on-road training sessions and ensure vehicles are well-maintained and safe for use
Qualifications
- Proven experience in driving with a valid driver’s license; prior experience as a driving instructor or in driver education is highly preferred but not required
- Strong teaching abilities with excellent communication skills to engage learners effectively
- Knowledge of traffic laws, road safety practices, and vehicle operation
- Experience working with diverse student populations, including adult learners, is advantageous
