What are the responsibilities and job description for the Critical Care Technician (CCT/CNA)-Night Shift position at The Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital Association?
Job Description: The Critical Care Technician is responsible for providing clerical and organizational support to the ICU. Under the direct supervision of Registered Nursing staff assists in performing delegated patient care activities, including activities of daily living and basic nursing care procedures, as well as identified competencies required in the assigned patient care unit. Monitors Cardiac Rhythms, VS, and SaO2 levels. EDUCATION: GED or High School Diploma required. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one month related experience and/or training preferred. CERTIFICATIONS: CNA license from the State of Nebraska OR completion of a basic nursing course, completion of Emergency Medical Technician training/certification, completion of a hospital provided training course, or other health care related major required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) with a recommended renewal date, required within 90 days of employment.
