Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of waste.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic cooking and food handling.
- Support the kitchen staff by bussing tables and ensuring that all serving items are clean and ready for use.
- Help with banquet setup and breakdown as required during events.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow in the kitchen.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
